Benefits of GCSS Membership
Keeping up with what is going on the world of social studies is very important.  Nothing replaces the excitement of interacting with fellow social studies teachers with similar interests, but the next best thing is membership in the Georgia Council for the Social Studies (GCSS), your state social studies professional organization.
For only $40 per year (retired educator $20 and student/pre-service teacher $10) you will receive a bi-weekly email blast with resources and opportunities for students and teachers as well as archived links to the GCSS 2020-2021 and 2021 GCSS Virtual Conferences to view at your leisure.

GCSS members will be sent a link to the archived 2020 Virtual Conference sessions.

Members will have opportunities to network with colleagues across the state through the 2020-2021 virtual sessions. Members will also receive bi monthly email reminders of social studies happenings across the state.
The Regional and State Social Studies Fairs will be cancelled for 2021-2022. GCSS plans to resume these fairs in 2022-2023.
